Surfing Hydrangea Nursery is a retail/re-wholesale nursery located on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts, serving a diverse client base of landscape management professionals, gardeners and homeowners. We are currently seeking applicants to fill the position of NURSERY SALES ASSOCIATE. A valid US driver’s license, proficiency in English and a working knowledge of the tools and equipment used in the green industry are important for this position. Please keep in mind – nursery work requires heavy lifting daily.

A self-motivated individual with excellent people skills is required for this position. Although prior experience working in a nursery environment is an asset, people with experience in allied fields, like gardening and landscaping have enjoyed the transition to nursery work with us in the past. Knowledge of plant materials used in the Northeast is an important asset - but a willingness to learn is even more important.
